Collaboration: Ana Hagopian+Fabriano

anah_necklaces_01

Argentinian born designer Ana Hagopian arrived in Spain in 1982 after long travels around the world that inspired her in her own design experiments and explorations. She is now one of the masters of world paper fashion and jewellery creating detailed and elegantly crafted design pieces and a universe of colorful (recycled) objects that find their strenght in the juxtaposition of the perishable nature of the material and the endless possibility of its usage.

Fabriano Boutique is the hotbed – laboratory of the famous paper-maker Cartiere Miliani Fabriano, founded in 1264 – for the design and manufacture of the best products in stationery and technical paper design in Europe today. Created in 2000 as an experiment in image-making when CMP was state property, today Fabriano Boutique is an independent firm that allies research and design.

Milano – Via Ponte Vetero, 17, 22 April 2009: Ana is today a guest of Fabriano Boutique at the forty-eighth Salone del Mobile ( Furniture Exhibition of Milan), presenting her new collection of paper jewellery.
